5 murders in Gazipur: Chargesheet on the bodies, which is written
Police have received sensational information in the case of the murder of five members of the same family in Kapasia, Gazipur. Copies of five identical written complaints typed on a computer were found on the bodies of the murder victims. In the complaint written to the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gopalganj Sadar Police Station, accused Forkan Mia has raised allegations of family feud, embezzlement and extramarital affairs.

Police said the deceased, Sharmin Khanam, was the daughter of Shahadat Molya of Paikandi village in Sadar upazila of Gopalganj. They lived in a rented house of expatriate Monir Hossain in Rautkona village of Kapasia.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Kaliganj Circle) of Gazipur District Police Md. Asaduzzaman said that a copy of a written complaint was kept on each of the five bodies. They were written to the OC of Gopalganj Sadar Police Station. Whether this complaint is just a note or it was actually submitted to the police station is being verified.s In the complaint, Forkan further mentioned that on May 3, at around 6 pm, the accused, in collusion, tied his hands and feet in a room, tortured and beat him. He named a total of 11 people, including his wife and father-in-law, in this incident and requested legal action.
Police believe that Forkan Mia may have committed the murder out of anger. Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Asaduzzaman said that an investigation is underway to unravel the mystery of the murder. Raids are being conducted at various places to arrest the accused Forkan Mia.
Police recovered the bodies from the scene on Saturday (May 9) morning and sent them to the morgue of Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital for autopsy. The incident has caused shock and excitement in the area.
